First Family Outing

I Hate Bowling

Oh yay. Bowling is so much fun. Bowling is life. The sarcasm is so real. I really dread going bowling but everyone else in my family loves it. Yesterday was gloomy and foggy and it rained majority of the day. I was planning on sleeping most of the day because I wanted to catch up on sleep since school starts in a few days. That plan was rejected when my mom bursts into my room and yells "Wake up Mae". I acted like I was still asleep. I was in a comfortable position and did not want to get out bed. She kept on trying to wake me, she started to tickle me, shake my body, and even jump on top of me but none of that worked. I started to hear her hands rub together and I instantly jumped out from under my pooh bear covers, she was about to smack my butt! I hate when she does that.
I honestly wanted to go skating but since it's Kyree's last week here I decided to do what he wished to do. The closest bowling alley was down the street from my house but I refused to go there. I live on base which is basically a ghost town. It would be nice to actually see people out rather than it just be my family and I out bowling. Last year my friend Erin invited me to this one bowling alley in Bel Air called Forest Hill Lanes, I actually enjoyed myself there so I figured my family would as well. When we arrived there no one was there. I would of thought it would be packed because it's a Saturday night, but no, I could hear myself breathing; that's how quiet it was.
After we finished our first game we went to order food. I didn't eat anything all day, so I was ready to eat right then and there. My mother didn't order anything she said it seemed like their food would be disgusting. She was somewhat right. My burger just did not look appetizing, plus it came with lays chips that I did not order which seemed a little sketchy. The fries were not hot and the wings were "okay" I guess. Even though I wasn't satisfied I ate the food anyway I was too hungry to just throw it away.

Once we ended our second game I was ready to go home! I came in last the last round and was over the game. But no, Marquis wanted to play another game because he wanted to win at least one game. Since he's the youngest of course he got he way and we played another game.

Okay, now to what I wore this night :) I had my hair straightened for about two weeks and finally decided that it was time for the puff to come back. Since I've been natural I've only straightened my hair about three times, I usually do a flat twist out and pick it out the next day, put it in a mohawk or put it in a simple ponytail. I don't use a lot of product in my hair, only water and TRESemme conditioner, which you can purchase from Target or any beauty supply store.

I never put on much makeup besides mascara, concealer, and lipstick. This night I wore Ruby Woo lipstick from MAC, the eyebrow pencil I used is also from MAC. I just started to fill in my eyebrows this year so I have not mastered them just yet.
I purchased the Africa earrings from a vendor at Howard University's Yard fest. I have their business card/flyer somewhere in my room.
The gold half heart ring is from Melody Eshani's collection, it says "Best Freaking Friends" on it. My best friend Kay Kay has the other half. I also purchased the other ring from a vendor at HU Yard Fest, it's one of my favorite rings, I wear with almost every outfit! My jeans are from EXPRESS and my boots/heels are from ASOS Marketplace, they always have good deals on shoes. My purse is also from EXPRESS and my grey turtleneck is from F21.
It took my brother forever to get a good picture of my whole outfit but this was the best that he could execute. So here's my OOTD :)
