Goucher College Adventure

Boy oh boy! It has been freezing in Maryland lately. It's been so cold that I dread to even leave my house now. School has started back this week and I'm indifferent about it. I want to go to school but then again I don't want to do homework. I know that's probably bad to say but it's the truth. I just want to go to college and go to senior week! Thank god that school was closed yesterday and we had a two hour delay. I've been going to sleep at 1 am almost everyday this week because of AP homework. School is starting to get more stressful and a little overwhelming. I just need a break from it all.
The most exciting thing about today was going to Goucher College. I've always drove past it when I go to Towson Mall but I've never explored it. My dance teacher had signed all the junior and senior dancers up to take master classes from different instructors and then at night watch a dance concert. Our first class was hip hop and that was in the schools gymnasium on the second floor. I love hip hop dance so I was pumped and ecstatic to learn a new combo. The instructors dance style was something that I've never learned before but I've watched dancers at Hypersquad; (ABDC's Hype 5-0) the dance studio I was a part of in Hawaii, perform in this dance style. I didn't really enjoy his music choice but  the choreography was pretty impressive to me. There were many disadvantages during this class because there were no mirrors and the speakers were not loud enough. My phone played louder than their speakers.
The next class we went to was Modern dance. Before we entered the studio I started to feel discouraged and uncomfortable because I strongly feel that I look weird performing any other dance besides hip hop. I didn't think I would enjoy this class at all but I did! The instructor was so lively and free and full of energy. There was not music but a man playing the drums, it was something that I've never experienced before but I liked it. She made us partner up with students from different schools so we could all feel comfortable with one another. My partner was a girl named Dominique, she was so sweet and helpful she made the class even better. After taking this class, I realized that I really enjoy Modern dance. I think I'll even start researching more about that dance style so I can get better at it.
The last class we took was a fundamentals class. It was a little boring at first because we were not dancing but it got interesting because the instructors were giving us tips on how keeping our pelvis in neutral would inform our form and execution of moves.
This is my lovely sequence dance bag that I brought with me today :) my parents gave this to me as a Christmas present last year.
I didn't get home till about 11:30 pm and I was so exhausted! I almost forgot to take an OOTD but I managed to stay awake long enough to snap one real quick. I LOVE fuzzy sweaters! I have about four of them and I'm pretty sure I'll purchase a lot more. This one is from Hollister and it's not long like my other ones it's a little bit longer than a crop top sweater. When I seen this color online I knew I had to buy it, I love how it looks on my skin.
The necklace I have on was a gift from my younger brother. I don't really wear this necklace that much because I forget that I have it but I love the color of it.
I kept it simple with the bottoms today. These are just some dark blue denim jeans from F21.
I also have a ton of platform shoes. These are like the only style of shoes that I wear. I purchased these from H&M last year.
